For a little while now, I’ve enjoyed making birthday cupcakes for my friends at work, and I think they kind of like getting them. Recently, it wasn’t until I got home after a particularly festive happy hour that I realized birthday cupcakes were needed for the next day. And so they were made, but the next day, everyone was forewarned they might not be my best effort as they were B.U.I. – Baked under the influence. And so the idea was born.
What I hope to do is find great cupcake recipes with a twist….or a shot, or maybe even a bottle of a little something special added, see how they turn out and then share them. Try to keep them seasonal and fun. And always delicious. Because the only thing better than a great cupcake, is a great cupcake with a little extra proof.
